\nIn the run-up to the entry into operation
\nof the Unitary Patent system on 1 June 2023 the EPO has published a
\nsupplementary edition of the Official Journal, listing decisions and notices,
\nas well as a guidance for the payment of fees, expenses and prices in relation with
\nthe Unitary Patent.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\nTitled „Information on practice and
\nprocedures before the EPO relating to the European Patent with unitary effect“,
\n<\/b>the bundled-up supplementary edition will enable users to find all relevant
\nUP-related information in a single, comprehensive publication and acquaint
\nthemselves with the new provisions in a timely manner.\u00a0\u00a0The
\nsupplementary publication includes details about information given in the
\nEuropean Patent Register, the format of oral
\nproceedings before the Unitary Patent Protection Division, the filing of early
\nrequests for unitary effect after entry into force of the Unitary Patent
\nsystem, the expansion of electronic notification via the Mailbox to documents
\nin proceedings related to European patents with unitary effect, among other important
