The deadline has<br \/>\nbeen extended so that everyone has sufficient time to submit a proposal to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epo.org\/news-events\/in-focus\/codefest.html\">code challenge<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThis is a unique opportunity to<br \/>\nwrite an AI code that improves access to the latest patent information on green<br \/>\nplastics and helps rid the planet of plastic waste. There&#8217;s also a chance to<br \/>\nwin a substantial cash prize.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nSo go for it: spread the word or <b>submit<br \/>\na proposal by 13 November!<\/b> Entries are welcome from solo coders or teams of<br \/>\nup to five, whether made up of talents from outside the EPO, or EPO staff, or a<br \/>\nmix of both.
