{"id":30861,"date":"2022-04-01T13:59:43","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T12:59:43","guid":{"rendered":"\/herre\/?post_type=nachricht&#038;p=30861"},"modified":"2022-04-01T13:59:43","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T12:59:43","slug":"20220401a","status":"publish","type":"nachricht","link":"https:\/\/www.dendorfer-herrmann.de\/herre\/beitraege\/nachricht\/20220401a\/","title":{"rendered":"20220401a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<b>31 March 2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On 31 March, in an online meeting, President Francesco Mattina of the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and President Ant\u00f3nio Campinos of the European Patent Office (EPO) renewed the EPO-CPVO cooperation agreement for a duration of five years.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe first Administrative Arrangement was signed in 2016. It enabled greater transparency and exchange of knowledge between the two organisations.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe cooperation focuses on data exchange and sharing work practices regarding the use of databases and other work tools. The exchange of data allows the examiners to search plant varieties protected by certificate, thus further increasing the validity of the European patents. The relevant databases have also been made available to the member states of the European Patent Organisation.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe EPO and the CPVO are in constant dialogue.
