He specializes in inventions in the fields of physics, medical engineering as well as electrical and software engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Herrmann works in the field of intellectual property since 1994. He has experience as an in-house counsel in an industry patent department as well as a German and European patent attorney.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Herrmann holds a doctorate in physics from the Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universit\u00e4t in Munich (Germany). His thesis was done in a joint cooperation between Max-Planck-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Munich (Germany), UC Berkeley (USA) and NASA Ames (USA).
